Blue Oaks Country Retreat

If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend away but with the convenience of beautiful beaches, cafes, pubs & shops then Blue Oaks is the ideal getaway. It is situated on a rural 5 acre property just 10 minutes from Inverloch. The home was built by the current owners as a family getaway. It has 3 double bedrooms and open plan living spaces all with views of the surrounding dairy farm and the hills beyond. There is a small deck upstairs which is a lovely place to enjoy the views and peace & quiet. On a cold day it is also nice to be indoors with the log fire burning. The entire property (apart from the shed) is for your use during your stay. There may be the rare occasion that I need to mow while guests are staying but would contact you first to make sure this was convenient. Blue Oaks is situated between Inverloch & Tarwin Lower, both a relaxing 10 minute drive away. There is an information booklet in the small sitting room with details of local restaurants, wineries, galleries, markets, walks and dog beaches. It is an ideal stay if you are wishing to explore Wilson’s Prom, however dogs are not permitted as it’s a National Park. There is a bus to Inverloch but you will definitely need a car to visit Blue Oaks. There is ample parking. On arrival there will be tea, coffee, sugar & longlife milk for your convenience. There are local supermarkets in Inverloch & Tarwin Lower and Woolworth, Coles etc. in Wonthaggi & Leongatha which are both 1/2 an hour away. There is a Webber bbq with a spare gas bottle but could guests please check that the gas is turned off after use. Pets are welcome but preferably not on the furniture.
