The eco friendly lifestyle and sustainable built straw bale loft space is available for guest use set in a vintage and eclectic inspired arty cottage in the scenic Perth Hills. Recently renovated with fresh toxic free paint, the loft consists of a comfortable Queen Bed, a sitting area, hanging space with its own private ensuite and wrap around deck. Fresh linen and towels are provided. The valley and city views are magnificent. The cottage is just off the Brookton Highway and only 28km from Perth City. Close to shopping centres, natural reserves, Armadale Hospital and the Kelmscott train station with only a 25 min train ride to Perth. A perfect stopover for travellers heading down to Margaret River 3 hours and Albany 5 hours. Guests are welcome to use the whole cottage, lower kitchen and outdoor decking area along with Gazebo BBQ area and pool. Guest has access at the back door to the loft without having to interact and is most welcome if they feel the need to in the common areas such as the kitchen, and outdoor areas. Beautiful vista views over the Perth Hills and outdoor living amongst nature at its best. Close to cafes, Araluan Botanical Park, Wungong Dam, Bibulum track, Art trails and seasonal festivals. Closest train station is Kelmscott. Property can be accessed via bus from the station with about a 10 min walk from the bus stop. The cottage is accessed up a hills driveway with car parking available and a stone staircase to get to the front door. Loft is accessed by wooden stairs entry through the back door
