Comprising of beautifully painted twin beds, quirky en-suit shower room with up-cycled fittings & authentic Moroccan tiles, cosy library/sitting room and flower filled patio, all for your very own use for the duration of your stay. The room has been created by artist Katrina Atkinson & will not disappoint Frida fans. With bespoke Frida fabrics and furnishings, exotic, colourful & relaxed bohemien ambience, you can while away the hours perusing the array of ‘Frida Kahlo’ literature. The cosy library boasts a huge body of art books & a unique collection of Gypsy/Roma publications. This is where you will be served a wonderful continental breakfast including Cheddar Strawberries (when in season). When the weather is clement you may choose to sit on the secluded patio; an ideal spot to relax with a bottle of wine or glass of local cider, watching the sunset after a hard day sightseeing. As an extra, you can book the use of the wood smoked fire pit. Frida’s Secret Room is part of Art House Cheddar Art School where you may book an art workshop or experience, as part of your stay. Nestled at the foot of the Mendip hills in the village of Cheddar, ‘home of the original Cheddar Cheese’, close to amenities; Post Office, Bank, Shops, Public Houses & Restaurants. Only half a mile to one of the natural ‘Seven Wonders of The World’ Cheddar Gorge where you can discover many wonderful walks & is a popular destination for climbing and caving.
