Beachside Home on SW coast path, Lizard Peninsula
Recently converted accommodation for two in quiet village, thirty nine steps above the beach, with direct access onto coast path. Fantastic views, clean air and rural surroundings in a well equipped annexe. PLEASE NOTE Due to the intensity of cleaning required between bookings because of COVID-19 we are only accepting bookings of one week throughout our season, all starting on Saturdays. The annexe is next to the main house where we live. Access through your own entrance to a living area and kitchen with downstairs cloakroom. Comfortable sofa to watch tv with DVD player, Roberts Radio, music system with iPod dock. Some books and games should you need! French doors lead onto verandah with outside seating and table, lovely for your mornings! Upstairs the bedroom has casement windows offering fantastic views of sea and cliffs. Bedroom is spacious and light. Bed has a super comfy mattress and 100% vegan bedding. En suite shower room with heated towel rail. Parking for guests is available outside the annexe. There is also seating and table at the front of the property for afternoon/evening sun. Garden steps down to SW coast path and also to the pub! Garden steps up to seating area for more great views and picnics, further steps to our fairy lawn! Please note however, we are sorry but the property and grounds are not suitable for those with limited mobility. The Lizard is a remarkable peninsula of great natural beauty with fantastic and varied beaches. The Helford River and the towns of Helston and Falmouth are a short drive away. Sailing, fishing, diving and golf are all available and Porthallow Cove is particularly popular for kayaking and canoeing. We are also the half way point on the SW coast path with a much photographed monument in the village centre. We have very little public transport......there is a small bus once a day to nearby Helston but really a car is the best option. You can park directly in front of the property with your car. This location will suit you if you are looking for peace and privacy; birdsong, waves and wildlife are the dominant sounds you will hear. However, you should be aware that access is by narrow lanes.
