Black Lion Cottage annex. Quaint & characterful

Small, old character cottage with probably the smallest patio in Talgarth. White walls with part exposed stone. Low ceilings in some areas. open plan lounge/kitchen. Double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Pet friendly. Small, old, quaint and quirky. Limited headroom in some areas. We're in a no through road so there is usually parking close by on the roadside. As the cottage is an annex to our home we are here to offer help if required. The top of our road is gated with pedestrian access, ideal for a stroll and also for dog walking. Talgarth is a very interesting and attractive place with a river running through it. It is a great base for walking, gliding, pony trecking, bird watching etc. There is a local store with post office and cash point. Several pubs, cafes and the Mill. The cottage is located towards the end of a no through road (since Talgarth was by-passed). Parking for our cottage is on the roadside opposite. There is a short walk into the Town for shops , cash point, bus stop and Local Tourist Information office . Please let us know if you are bringing a pet. If you could give a rough time of arrival it would be really helpful. Check in time is usually between 3pm and 9 pm but earlier or later arrival times can be arranged. Check out is 10am. We have cats but they are not allowed into the annex. We love dogs but ask that they be kept on leads immediately outside the cottage as along with ours several neighbours have cats too.
