Willowside

Your hosts David & Jenny live at Willowside Place on the outskirts of Amberley township, 45kms north of Christchurch on State Highway 1. We can provide for room only or B&B with a continental breakfast for a single guest or a couple. There are several restaurants and eating houses in Amberley township and numerous vineyards and wineries at Waipara, approx 8kms north of Amberley. Prices quoted are per person or share twin. 75 Willowside Place is a new home with modern facilities in a relatively new subdivision. It has a private garden with adequate off street parking. We offer a guest bedroom with a queen bed suitable for a single guest or a couple. The room has an adjoining bathroom with shower and bath and a separate toilet for exclusive guest use. Guests are welcome to use the lounge and deck area to relax and the BBQ is available for guest to use. In addition to the room and continental breakfast, a cooked breakfast can be provided on request at additional cost. Your hosts have worked in the hospitality industry and have traveled widely throughout New Zealand. We are happy to share our knowledge and contacts with our guests. For those who are relying on public transport, providing we are given prior notice we can provide a pickup and drop of service from Amberly township. Amberly is situated on State Highway 1 on the way to Kaikoura, Hamner Springs, the West Coast and Nelson and the inter Island ferry at Picton. We are in the heart of the Waipara wine growing region and close to good fishing in the sea, the Waimakiriri, Hurunui and the Waiau rivers.
