Moulin d'en Bas Eco Centre Holiday accommodation in Moulin d’en Bas, a tranquil watermill with a 20m natural swimming pool and yoga studio in southwest France. Suitable for anyone looking to relax and unwind in nature. The moulin and its surrounding 5 acres of land offers 3 spacious private gites (holiday apartments). We are passionate about the environment, all of our gites are equipped with Bokashi compost bins and you will receive an Eco Welcome Pack on arrival with local organic products. Located on the 1st floor, La Cascade(waterfall in French), is a large 1 bedroom gite that sleeps up to 4 people. The bedroom has a double bed and there is a double sofa bed located in the kitchen dining area. It is suitable for couples, friends or families with up to 2 children. La Cascade has an en suite bathroom with a full-size bath/shower. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size gas oven and hob, with a sofa area and dining table. Gite You'll have your own private gite, or holiday apartment. The gite has a bedroom, with an en suite bathroom and an open plan kitchen/diner with dining table and sofa area. You'll have access to our 20m long natural swimming pool, biologically filtered with plants and UV light. Yoga & Mindfulness We also have a yoga studio and welcome you to join one of our weekly yoga and/or mindfulness meditation classes. Private classes are available on request and outside of class time your welcome to use the studio for yourself. Nature We're lucky to have 5 acres of land with river, lake, canal, woodland, permaculture veg beds & natural pool... You can enjoy BBQs in the evening at our BBQ area, next to our games room barn with table tennis table and dart board. If you want to relax in nature, you can take a book down to our private woodland or over next to our lake and have a quiet sit and enjoy the silence. Please note our outdoor areas and pool are shared with other gite guests... there's plenty of space for everyone to have a great time! We're always available if you have any questions and need any help planning your perfect trip. If you're keen to get to know us we'll try our best to join you one evening for a BBQ, we'd love to hear about you! Moulin d'en Bas is situated in the Haute Garonne countryside of southwest France. The Haute Garonne is famous for it's rolling sunflower fields, with views of the Pyrenean mountains towering in the distance. There are many sites to see within an hour's drive including stunning mountain towns or beautiful gorges. Nearby you can also find lots of local, traditional French towns and markets. There are many hikes, mountain bike trails, opportunities for climbing and even via ferratas for anyone interested in exploring the Pyrenees. We're happy to help you plan your perfect trip! We are located a 10 min drive from the nearest towns, Boulogne-Sur-Gesse and L'Isle en Dodon, a 30 min drive from the larger town of St Gaudens (SNCF train station) and a 1 hour drive from Toulouse (Toulouse Blagnac Airport, SNCF Gare Matabiau Train Station). Both Boulgne-Sur-Gesse and L'Isle en Dodon have supermarkets, restaurants and local shops where you can find all the necessities. They both have weekly traditional markets. There is also a large market held weekly at Samatan (25 mins drive). We are located a 5 min drive/ 20 min walk to the nearest bus stop with connections to the local towns of Boulogne-Sur-Gesse (10 mins) & L'Isle en Dodon (10 mins) and Toulouse (2h by bus). Parking is available at the Moulin for free. We do recommend you bring a car with you as we are very remote. If access to a car is not possible let us know and we can look at arranging a pick up (extra fee applicable). The accommodation is on the 1st floor. We offer weekly drop in yoga & mindfulness classes (free, donations welcome). Private classes are also available on request.
