It exudes chic and contemporary Scandic flair, skilfully blending vintage-style pieces of furniture and homely accessories, with modern comfort, a designer log burner, superb attention to detail and a cool, neutral colour palette. Natural light floods in from large windows that also frame stunning views. Stag Cabin is the perfect place for an elegant escape in the Scottish Highlands. The space As you step into the entrance hallway of Stag Cabin there is a utility room equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. So, if you have a jumper or jacket that has become dirty on a day out cycling or walking on muddy tracks you can get them straight in the wash before going any further. Off the hallway are three very spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super king size bed, as well as bedside tables with reading lights, wardrobe space, a vanity area, armchairs and a coffee table, with a view of the Ben More burn waterfall just outside the window. The master bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath with a shower over it. The second bedroom has twin single beds and the third bedroom has a king size bed, both have an en-suite shower room. For maximum sleeping comfort all beds have a 2000 spring, pocket sprung mattress with a Cashmere top and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Plus, the ground floor features underfloor heating with separate thermostat controls in each room, so that you can get the temperature just right. Upstairs is accessed by either the bespoke beech staircase, or the lift. Here you will find the fourth bedroom which has a king size bed and an en-suite shower room. Also upstairs is the open plan living, dining and kitchen area which really has the design ‘wow factor' as well as more incredible views. A striking black kitchen with granite worktops, twin sinks with a ‘Quooker' boiling water tap and all mod cons, is complemented by a matching black dining table that can seat up to 10 people. The area flows in an ‘L' shape through to the lounge which has two distinct seating spaces. One with large sofas and a 65″ LED Smart TV with online facilities and Blu Ray DVD, while the second area has a wood burner and a glass frontage and patio door with views of Ben More, the waterfall and Glen Dochart. Guest access Guests are invited to check-in remotely before travelling and will receive full directions on how to reach the property. On arrival at Stag Cabin there is a private car parking area which leads to a tiled ramp reaching the triple glazed front door. Sustainability Stag Cabin features a central heating and hot water system that is supplied by an air source heat pump and controlled by a digital thermostat, whilst all windows throughout the property are triple-glazed. The privately-owned estate on which the cabin is located attracts plenty of wildlife including deer, pine martens and red squirrels, which you might spot if you are lucky. Guests are encouraged to recycle their food waste into the composting bins on the estate and can also purchase bird food to feed feathered friends back at their cabin. There's even a tree adoption scheme where you can select a sapling and have it planted on the estate on your behalf. Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive the requirement. Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.
