Traditional Bed and Breakfast business with luxurious, elegant bedrooms with high quality Egyptian cotton bedding. The total number of bedrooms in this business is 3. This listing is for Bedroom 1 which has a private bathroom across the hallway (bath robe and slippers available). This bathroom has facilities for anyone struggling with mobility. This room can be configured as a twin or king size double. Please indicate which configuration you need in your booking. Breakfast is included. To compliment the bedrooms there is also a guest lounge/diner and a sunroom to relax and meet up, or just to soak up the views of the river and town. There is a fridge in the lounge which is available for use by the guests, which also contains semi-skimmed milk for use with the tea and coffee making in the bedrooms. It is possible to access my B&B without having any steps or stairs. There is a long ramp up to the front door. Most doors are wide doors. The guest lounge, dining area and guest sunroom are all on the same level as the bedrooms. This is an ideal place to stay if you have any struggles with mobility. There is also off street parking. As the owner of the B&B I live on site. Information on how to contact me during your stay will be made available on arrival. The location of my B&B is in a quiet area of the town. It is a short walk into town. As explained, as the B&B has elevated views, the walk from the town is uphill. Kirkcudbright enjoys a full summer events itinerary including Tattoo, Festival of Lights, Kite Festival, Arts and Craft Trail, Jazz festival as well as producers market and vintage fairs. See the local website for details - Kirkcudbright.town Once in Kirkcudbright it is possible to walk everywhere, leaving the car at the B&B. The parking in town is free, though at peak times spaces are limited. If you want to go further afield you will need a car. There are plenty of walks and cycle rides, plus places to fish, go horse riding or visit local activities. OS maps and walking books are available to peruse or borrow. I live on site with my 2 dogs and cat, who do not have access to the guest areas.
