Bishop's Rest Bed and Breakfast is just 3 km from Porrentruy which was for over 200 years the seat of the Bishops of Basel. The area is rich in history and is one of Switzerlands best kept secrets. Perfect to relax, swim in the river or dine locally. The 2 double bedrooms, each with shower,wc washbasin open on to the breakfast room. Guests may mingle with each other or have total privacy.Each room has its own entrance. There is parking on the premesis and the large garden and riverside meadow allow for lots of space to explore or just relax. There is a large private garden, featured in the Guide to Gardens in Switzerland, ajoining the property and is easily accessible for guests. Breakfast is the time for planning the day and discussing different aspects of your stay. There is a rail, regional train station at about 300 meters, there is also a bus service. Excellent road connections to the house and private parking is available. Swimming in the river which runs through the property is an added attraction especially for families.
