Aniseed Cottage- spacious lounge & huge deck

Huge, sunny, north facing balcony with large sliding doors allows for indoor/outdoor flow. A purpose built sunshade protects guests from the elements while night lights extend the wine drinking late into the evening. The refurbished house is fully insulated with double glazing and the recycled rimu flooring contribites to a warm, homely feel. Pohara Beach, a 400m walk (5 minutes) allows for sunset viewing over Golden Bay and walking, swimming and exploring the natural rock formations by day. Surrounded by trees and birdsong, Aniseed Cottage is a peaceful haven a 5 minute walk from gorgeous Pohara beach. Guests have use of the entire house and property, this includes a large deck and plenty of off-street parking. Can be contacted via cell phone anytime. Tennis courts and several coffee shops/restuarants and a dairy within walking diatance. 10 mins drive to the beginning of the Abel Tasman National Park where there are a range of walks. Takaka, a 10 minute drive offers a unique range of independently owned shops. Personal car. Walking routes suggested at house. A lock box allows guests to access keys. Firewood, paper and a lighter are supplied for you to light the fire to keep the space cosy. A heat transfer system pumps heat to the bedrooms while the bathroom has it's own heater. No condiments or cooking spices are in the house for hygiene reasons so please bring all your own ingredients for cooking. Guests are required to bring their own linen, towels and tea towels. Douvets, blankets and pillows provided. You are welcome to hire linen $10 per person per stay.
