The maison de Pradier is located in a quiet hamlet in the Côtes de Bourg wine-producing region, 40-minutes northwest of Bordeaux, near the vineyards of St Emilion and Médoc, a one-hour drive from Cognac. The citadel of Blaye (Unesco site) is a short drive away as well as the Gironde estuary. For quick shopping, all amenities can be found at around 550 yards from the house. The charming maison has been fully restored using authenthentic materials. It can comfortably accomodate up to 6 people. The maison de Pradier provides a comfortable living space with soft colors, antique furniture and exposed beams. The three bedrooms are large and there are two well-equipped bathrooms. The open -plan kitchen-living area has its original stone fireplace and opens onto the garden so that guests can dine outside during summer in the shade of the cedars. Table, chairs, deckchairs and a barbecue are provided. The large 44x18-foot swimming pool in the 5-acre garden faces south and is shared with the owners. You reach it by walking along a tiny lane skirting the garden. Children may enjoy going to the pond to visit the ducks! The house has its own entrance and guests are completely independent. There are two parking spaces. t is always our pleasure to welcome our visitors. We are both discrete and willing to share our knowledge of the area. We will be happy to make suggestions and share the best addresses. What’s more, we really enjoy practicing our English. The maison de Pradier is located in the Côtes de Bourg wine-producing area. The hamlet is calm and the nearby village has many amenities: two bakeries, a grocery store, butcher and a boucher-charcutier, small supermarket, pharmacy, two restaurants... It is easy to go for a walk or to run in the vineyards and surrounding wooded areas. You need a car to get to the maison de Pradier.
