Leafy Blue Mountains studio close to transport

Our place is located in a quiet, suburban area 400m from the station and 10 min walk to the town of Lawson. The studio is a garage conversion recently renovated so everything is new and fresh. We provide tea, coffee, milk, oats, condiments and snacks on arrival. The studio is separate to our main house and has its own patio. Our studio promises to be a clean, comfortable place for your stay, minutes to public transport and the local villages of the Blue Mountains. Our place has a lovely light kitchen and brand new ensuite. All the original rafters of the building remain exposed to add character and interest. There is a queen bed and two seater velvet lounge to enjoy. The studio has large sliding doors opening onto the private courtyard where you can enjoy the fresh, mountains air with a morning coffee or an evening drink. The windows and doors are all double glazed and have window coverings. The winter sun makes its way across the bed mid morning. The studio has a kitchen that provides ample to space to prepare food. At this stage however we don't have a stove or oven. There is however a microwave, generous fridge, double sink, blender, sandwich press, toaster and kettle. The ensuite has a large shower with a rain fall shower head. There is a single sink and toilet and a light, fan and heat lamp. The studio is positioned separate to the main house at the front of the property. Guests will have access to the entire studio and attached patio during their stay. We will be available if not in person then over the phone during your stay. We are happy to answer any questions you have. We have lived in the Blue Mountains all our lives and we are more than happy to share all our local knowledge with you. We are located 400m to the train station on a quiet suburban street. Its just a short walk to the town of Lawson where you can grab a coffee, one of the best croissants in the Mountains or enjoy some other options like a Thai or Italian restaurant, Kebab takeaway, a pub meal or dinner at the local tapas bar. There are some essentials like a supermarket and chemist and a lovely local public pool and organic grocer. 10 mins on the train will get you to the lovely local villages of the Mountains such as Leura, Katoomba or Wentworth Falls. From here you can enjoy many spectacular walks and tourist attractions of our world heritage area as well as many cafes and restaurants and boutique stores. The train station is a short walk (2 min) away. From here you can get to the tourist towns of Leura or Katoomba in less than 15 mins. Trains also run to Sydney regularly. We have on street parking available. As we share the main entrance to the property you may be aware of us coming and going however we spend the majority of our time, when we are at home, in the main house or the (Website hidden by Airbnb) you won't see much of us. Also, please note, due to work commitments check out is strictly at 9am. I may be able to accommodate a later check out, please feel free to ask.
