This gorgeous gite has been lovingly converted to a very high standard and you have the entire place to yourselves. It is set in the tranquil countryside with lovely views and has been described as 'Exquisite' It is close to Mortain- Domfront -Vire, It has a comfortable Queen size bed, private parking and a lovely garden to sit, sip wine and totally relax listening to the birds. The gite is suited to couples of all ages, solo adventurers, and business travelers. You will not be dissapointed The gite has a portable cot if travelling with a child under 2 years. Our neighboring English farmers are at hand to answer any questions and you can purchase the best free range eggs. Bonus! The majority of our customers make return visits. In the local town of Mortain visit the stunning Petite and Grand water falls. We are approximately 1 1/4 hrs drive from Mont St Michel and the famous Normandy beeches. We offer a sister gite Maison de Grace 200m away, so why not come with firends or family. Directions to the gite are as follows; From the town of Mortain the gite is about 15 mins drive away. From Mortain head onto D907 to Barenton. In Barenton take left onto D36 to Rancaudary (passed the entrance to Coccinelle supermarket) 1st left again D182 to Rancuadary and 1st left again D182 to Rancaudary Drive about 3km and you will see a farm on the right called 'La Chiffetiere' (our housekeepers Carl and Tessa live on this farm) The gite is located 200 meters ahead around a bend on the left Maison de Lilli You can drive straight into driveway to the side of the gite. Have a safe journey. De la ville de Mortain, le gîte se trouve à environ 15 minutes en voiture. De Mortain prenez la D907 jusqu'à Barenton. À Barenton, prendre à gauche sur D36 jusqu'à Rancaudary (passer l'entrée au supermarché Coccinelle) 1er à gauche encore D182 à Rancuadary Et 1er à gauche encore D182 à Rancaudary Conduisez environ 3 km et vous verrez une ferme à droite intitulée 'La Chiffetiere' (nos ménages Carl et Tessa en direct sur cette ferme) Le gîte est situé à 200 mètres devant un virage à gauche Maison de Lilli Vous pouvez conduire directement dans l'allée sur le côté du gîte. Avoir un bon voyage. There are nearby Railway stations. Previous guests have caught the train into Paris for the day.
