The condo is located at the traditional village of Pano Gouves. A small, quiet village with mini market, hair salon, greek taverns and bakery. The neighborhood is really quiet and the people are friendly and welcoming. The beach is located in Kato Gouves and it's about 4 minutes drive. However, the route is nice so you can do it by feet or to excessive (like power walk or running). You have a great panoramic view from sea to mountains. In the area of Kato Gouves you can find supermarkets, atm, bank, restaurants, bars, doctors, medical supplies and also a shopping street full of stores that sell almost anything you can imagine. With a 5 minute driving you get to visit traditional villages, mountain, breathtaking Caves and views, churches, great Cretan land with vineyards and olive trees. Close to the condo you will find the Cretan Aquarium (7min. drive), the Dinosauria theme park and the International Conventional Center. Heraklion city is 15 minutes away by car or 20 minutes by bus. Also in near distance from our condo you can visit places like Hersonissos, Koutouloufari, Stalida Malia and much more. The easiest way to move around in Crete and get the best out of the island is to rent a car. However, there are taxis and public buses.
