Spacious light character home in hamlet

Longmeadows Lodge is an elegant character house, originally part of a Rectory. Rooms are generously proportioned. The kitchen is newly fitted, and opens onto a spacious family dining area. There is plenty of lawn to run around in the flat garden, and trees to climb. There is parking for 3 cars at the back of the house, leading to the kitchen. The countryside all around is delightful, with easy access to the Jurassic Coast and Dartmoor. Guests can access the whole house, except one small bedroom. There are 3 double bedrooms available for guests. You will have the house to yourself, but there will be someone on standby to provide any assistance necessary. The house is in a small hamlet, with church, hairdressers, village hall and bowling green just down the road. There are good country walks nearby, and Escot Wildwood is on our doorstep. We are not far from the A30 with easy access to Honiton and Ottery Saint Mary (10 minutes) and Exeter (30 minutes.). Its takes about 40 minutes to get onto Dartmoor and our nearest coastal towns are Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, and Exmouth (all about half an hour). A car is best for getting around, though there are some buses, and we have a train station near by that has connections into Exeter (20 minutes) and in the other direction to London (which takes 3 hours). We have a rule to avoid parking at the front of the house (which has a shared driveway and turning circle) so that we and our immediate neighbours can enjoy unobstructed views of our gardens.
