Maple Cottage

Spacious cottage near to Taunton with all its ameneties but still very rural. The beautiful Quantocks hills and the Somerset steam railway are close by. The cottage has two very large bedrooms, a great family bathroom, second shower, sitting room, big kitchen and a private garden. It is a nice walk through the fields to the Steam railway with trains leaving to stations towards Minehead. The Quantock Hills provide many beautiful walks and the village of Bishops Lydeard has small shops, tea room, The Mill and Rural Life Museum and 14th Century church. Attractions such as Wookey Hole, City of Bath, Exmoor and Dartmor are a short drive away. The cottage is bright and airy, great for families or a party of people. The kitchen has a large range cooker plus two other ovens, a large fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a washing machine, WiFi, log burner, Tv and Dvd player. We can provide a cot and high chair and a selection of children's toys. we do not charge extra for children under the age of 10 years old. When booking just book for the number of adults but message me about the number and age of children. Breakfast is provided and includes a selection of cereals, bread and ingredients to cook eggs etc.. Well behaved pets are welcome but please talk to the owner first. The cottage has its own entrance. Please park in spaces marked CookAbility only, thank you The owner is nextdoor and will welcome guests and make sure all is okay then leave guests alone unless needed. There are buses from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead and Taunton. The bedrooms are large and have extra beds in them. It is possible to have 5 people sleeping in single beds sharing rooms.
