Seaside Getaway Private Path to Beach & Pool Table
Ground Floor rooms of our beautiful Victorian house with a private garden leading straight onto the beach. Situated in a thriving village with plenty of food and drink options, we are a short walk from historic Pevensey Castle and the perfect base for exploring East Sussex. The main bedroom has a double and single bed and there is a second double bedroom. Guests have their own kitchen, bathroom, dining room and Pool room with small TV and sofa. The entrance and Hallway are shared with the hosts. Our son Philip is the fifth generation of my family to stay in this house, so we hope you love it as much as we do! One unique feature is the decor in the breakfast room, which despite appearances isn't wood paneling, but was painted by my Great-Grandfather, a very skilled craftsman. The ground floor rooms are all allocated to guests, so you will have your own kitchen, bathroom and breakfast room, as well as a full size pool table to play on! There is a shady, covered veranda outside with a table for al fresco dining and a long garden down to the sea. The entrance and hallway are shared, but only for access by ourselves. Your hosts Tom & Monika live in the first floor flat with their toddler Philip. We will be happy to help with any advice or anything else you need as we are only upstairs. Pevensey Bay is well equipped with a well stocked shop, a bakery, a chippy, a kebab shop, two Indians, a Chinese, a cafe and two pubs all just around the corner. There is private parking for two vehicles directly in front of the house. There are buses every twenty minutes Mon-Sat daytimes and hourly on Sundays to Eastbourne and Hastings. Pevensey & Westham train station is 30-40mins walk. Pevensey Bay station is much closer (10mins walk) but only has a few trains in the peak on Mon-Fridays. As we are upstairs with a toddler this isn't a suitable venue for loud parties as stated in the house rules.
