Welcome to Connemara - A cosy two bedroom home, perfect for your Cornish getaway. This lovely, homely cottage sleeps up to four people. The spacious master bedroom has a double bed and distant ocean views. The second twin bedroom has plenty of storage space and views out over the main communal gardens. Downstairs the fully equipped kitchen leads to the lounge and dining area, with comfy sofas and French doors opening up on to the patio and grassed garden area. A perfect beach holiday getaway Just moments away from Maenporth’s indoor pool and spa ‘Connemara’ is a comfy and welcoming 'home from home’ - a modern Cornish cottage spread over two floors. On the ground floor, the sitting room, kitchen and open plan dining area are bright and spacious, tastefully decorated and arranged so that guests can cook, socialise and dine in a free-flowing open space. The well equipped kitchen opens out onto the dining area and the sitting room offers a large TV, two comfy sofas and views onto the gardens with french doors that open out onto an alfresco patio dining area. Upstairs, the sunny master bedroom has distant views of the ocean, a comfy double bed, a TV and plenty of storage. The lovely twin room is airy and spacious with pretty views over Maenporth’s mature communal gardens. The large family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower and loo. Downstairs there is an additional WC and walk-in shower. Connemara’ is the perfect place to get comfy, relax and make yourselves at home just a short walk away from the beach and moments from the indoor pool, spa and sauna! Visitors to Maenporth Estate each have full access to an extensive selection of leisure facilities and activities included in the price of their stay. There are 6 official walks starting from Maenporth Estate taking in Rosemullion, Swanpool, Durgen, Helford Passage, Falmouth Docks and Pendennis Castle. Acclaimed 'The Cove' restaurant is situated right by the entrance to Maenporth Estate. Much loved for almost two decades, it has recently been acquired by the acclaimed Michelin-star chef Michael Caines, one of Britain’s most popular and well-known chefs. The holder of two Michelin stars for 18 consecutive years, he is a familiar face on Masterchef, Saturday Kitchen, Sunday Brunch, and The Great British Menu. The menus are stunning and range from informal meals to enjoy by the sea as well as the full Michale Caines Signature dining experience. Everywhere in Maenporth itself is within easy walking distance. For travels further afield a car is recommended. Vibrant falmouth, with a wealth of shops, cafes, restaurants, galleries and museums is located approximately 3 miles away. Local taxis are available. Shopping deliveries to Maenporth are provided by Sainsburys, Asda (both Falmouth) and Waitrose (Truro). We have a very good housekeeper who is available, also the leisure center staff can help and advise. Maenporth Estate overlooks Maenporth Beach and is 3 miles from vibrant Falmouth and 3 miles from the stunning Helford river. The area is well known for its stunning views, extensive wildlife and beautiful beaches. Everywhere in Maenporth itself is within walking distance. For trips further afield, a car is recommended. Falmouth is 3 miles away and boasts a wealth of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Local supermarkets include Sainsburys, Asda, and 2 smaller Tesco stores. Shopping deliveries available. Truro - Tesco, Waitrose & Marks & Spencers. There is a train from falmouth to Truro. Local taxi firms are available. The lovely village of Mawnan Smith is a 20 minute walk away with excellent village shop, country pubs and artisan coffee shop. The Maenporth Estate is in a stunning coastal location overlooking Maenporth Beach. A picturesque sandy beach, safe for swimming, with rock pools, caves and even a shipwreck to explore at low tide! There are beautiful walks you can take right from your front door, along the South West Coast footpath, and easy access to the rest of Cornwall. Our woodlands have spectacularly tall Monterey pines as well as cypress, oak and beech trees. The gardens, leisure facilities and play areas are all exceptionally well maintained throughout the year.
