Pretty terrace in Altrincham

A characterful & cosy Victorian house on a quiet street, ideally located for lively Altrincham market town. Sleeping: The house sleeps 8. We can also provide a travel cot on request. You have 3 bedrooms: - Master with king bed - Second bedroom with double sofa bed & desk - Loft bedroom with 2 ‘cabin’ beds suitable for children or small adults, plus 2 single sofa beds which can be joined to make a king. Kitchen: toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine, large cooker with 2 ovens & gas hob. The kitchen is equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses, mugs, pans & utensils. A welcome grocery pack will be provided with milk, tea, coffee, bread, butter and simple breakfast items. You are also welcome to use cupboard items such as olive oil, salt, pepper. Bathroom: towels will be provided along with shampoo & shower gel. Outside: You have access to a small courtyard & a larger garden area with tree swing. **Please note this area has yet to be re-landscaped after a recent building project.** Parking: Ample on street parking is available. Permits are required Monday - Friday 9am-5pm and will be provided free of charge. Children: of all ages welcome. There are a wide range of toys and books available in the loft bedroom & a tree swing in the garden. Note: Please note ceiling height in the loft is 6ft6. Also, a spaniel usually lives here - the house will be cleaned before all bookings but you may need to be aware if you are allergic. Other information: we will provide a detailed user's guide for Hive, WiFi, TV incl. Netflix / iPlayers, coffee machine etc. You will also be welcome to contact us at any point. Lastly, this is our family home & contains our belongings, we trust guests will respect this. Guests will have sole use of all rooms in the property. We’re happy to be contacted by text / call during your stay with any questions at all. Our street is quiet and pretty, close to 2 parks (Navigation Park & John Leigh - both of which have children's play parks.) The Navigation & Altrincham met stops are each a 5 minute walk, and then 25 minutes into central Manchester. Altrincham’s cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and market area are a 5-10 minute walk. One of our favourite things about the area is how much is in walking distance. Close to Dunham Massey, Lyme Park, Quarry Bank, Little Moreton Hall & attractions incl. Chester Zoo, Jodrell Bank, Tatton Park, Knowsley Safari, museums & galleries in Manchester & Liverpool, Blue Planet, Sea Life & Lego Land, Beeston Castle, Go Ape & Delamere Forest, & beaches at Formby, Crosby & New Brighton. Day trips to N. Wales, Peak District, Forest of Bowland & Yorkshire Dales. There is a tram stop a 5 min walk away which takes you to central Manchester in 25 mins. Altrincham interchange links to the train lines into Manchester and out towards Cheshire & North Wales. The house is well placed for access to the M60, M56 & M6. And Manchester Airport is in easy reach - 15 mins by car.
