Enjoy stunning ocean sunsets and a spectacular view of Table Mountain from our newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment. Our apartment is within walking distance to the beach and only 8 km drive from the city centre, making it the ideal place for a family getaway or business traveler. At 124m² (excluding a private laundry area) our modern apartment offers plenty of space to relax and can quite comfortably accommodate 4 guests. Fast Fibre Internet, Netflix and Apple TV! Everything is brand new, new kitchen, bathroom, bed, linen, you name it and loads of amenities. Both bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized and completely redone. Our apartment offers beautiful ocean views from every room. Views of Table Mountain, Lion's Head, Robben Island, lagoon, Woodbridge Island and the Lighthouse can be enjoyed from the large apartment windows. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms are generous in size and offer blockout curtains. The main bedroom is en-suite with a bath & overhead shower. The second bathroom is directly across the passage from the second bedroom and has a large luxurious shower. The kitchen is modern and equipped with all the essentials, including a dishwasher. The apartment is 124 square meters, (+-1300 Square feet) and has an enclosed balcony with beautiful views. We have a private laundry room, just outside our apartment, with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. (This is our own private area, which no one else has access to.) There is a dedicated, single parking bay (for one car) in a secure parking area on the ground floor. PLEASE NOTE: In line with current global health concerns we’ve implemented an extra sanitising process. In addition to normal housekeeping & cleaning, all linen and touch points are sanitised. We typically meet and greet guests at the apartment. We are contactable by phone, text or Airbnb should you need anything. We are Cape Town locals and can advise you on the best attractions and activities in Cape Town and surrounding areas, including Franschhoek. There is a detailed guidebook in the apartment with information and recommendations. There are plenty of tourism brochures in the apartment. The apartment is just a 500-metre walk from the beach. World–renowned kite surfing destination Kite Beach is just a short drive north. The centre of Cape Town and V&A Waterfront are only a 15-minute drive away. There's a new restaurant called Cowboys & Cooks, which is a 5 min drive from the apartment. It's a steakhouse and bar in Ocean Square and a must try. Maestros on the Beach Restaurant now known as BOSSA Restaurant is also a must try for breakfast, lunch or dinner and is just across the road from the apartment. CityROCK, a state of the art indoor climbing facility is a mere 2,8km drive from our apartment. Excellent facilities and a must visit. There's a coffee shop, specialist outdoor gear shop and yoga classes are offered. Virgin Active Gym at Century City is a short drive away from the apartment and offers a daily rate option for day visitors. Well equipped gym! We have a dedicated parking bay (for 1 car) There is a rapid bus transport service opposite the apartment which takes one into the city (approximately 8km from the apartment) and the V&A Waterfront (approximately 12km from the apartment). We do recommend that you hire a car in order to explore the wine region and surrounds, The Cape of Good Hope and the penguins. Getting into the city centre is easy by car, cab or the rapid bus transport service. Please read our area guide for more information. Stuart is a friendly cab driver & tour guide who we recommend. Stuart offers airport transfers, trips to the wine region (Franschhoek & Stellenbosch), The Cape of Good Hope, the penguins and more. We recommend booking Stuart in advance. Our apartment is ideal accommodation for the Cape Town 12 One Run participants. We are directly opposite the start and offer a view of the race start. We have a fold up camp cot for an infant (6 months to 2 years). There is a foam mattress with a mattress protector, fitted sheet and foam pillow with pillowslip. We don't provide any linen or blankets for the camp cot, please bring your own.
