My home is 6 min. drive from the centre of Nelson City. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed the other a super king bed. 1 shower room. You are welcome to come upstairs to sit on the deck with fabulous view over Tasman Bay to the mountains, or watch tv. My street is off state highway 6 into Nelson from Picton ferry / Blenheim. Up a short drive. Nelson has many cafes, restaurants, cool gardens,art galleries, shops. There are excellent cycleways. The Abel Tasman park is 70min drive a must. My home has outside seating down stairs, a shaded space in the evening after a hot day exploring also on the balcony with fabulous view over the bay to the mountains . The 2nd bedroom with a super king bed also has a sofa . Guests are welcome to come upstairs and sit on the balcony. The view across the bay to the mountains is stunning . I always welcome guests. I check that they have all the information they need They are welcome to come upstairs and have a hot or cold drink, sit on the balcony. I serve breakfast up stairs . I am there if needed. Atawhai is a great place to live. It is easy driving into town , In the next valley there is a very good small supermarket and fish and chips. When its high tide and hot one just needs to walk over the road to swim There is a bus into town but the last one home leaves at 5.30pm. No good for a nighttime meal out. The cycle way goes all the way into town and beyond I am very happy to host just one couple at a time. I would not let the other room while you are staying. There is safe parking right outside so no need to leave your car on the street. A cat now lives in my home.
