Glass House Country Cottage

Welcome to our little cottage in beautiful Glass House Mountains! Our home is surrounded by rolling farmland and boasts views across to four of the Glass House Mtns. We are a seven minute walk to the village which has a post office, hair dressers, small supermarket, Pizza shop, Tavern, the all important Visitor Info. Center and railway station. We are 10 minutes from Australia Zoo by car and moments from hiking trails. FREE Wi Fi avail her (Website hidden by Airbnb) Your hosts have been Covid immunized! If you enjoy a character home...this is it! Our guest room is large and has a HUGE private bathroom. The reading/t.v. room has two comfy Laz e Boy recliner chairs for your comfort and opens on to the front verandah, where you can enjoy your morning cuppa - or, on the back verandah, a glass of wine or a cold beer in the evening watching the sunset between the mountains. ...nibblies might even be be on offer! Our guests will have access to the entire front of the house and access to the kitchen via the laundry entrance. Guests can cook their own meals or enjoy the local eateries or both! We will give you privacy but be here to chat and answer any questions and share information about the area. Should you wish to have further conversation, well, that isn't a problem for us seniors who've been there and done that .....! Our cottage looks across the road to fields that will soon be filled with Lychee trees, while the back is open paddocks. We wake to the sound of wild birds in a quiet neighbourhood Buses depart from the railway station, a 10 minute walk away. Trains travel north and south from the Glass House Mountains Station.
