ASK US about our winter rates! At Russell Falls Holiday Cottages we have 4 fully self contained Cottages, there are 3 one bedroom Cottages and a 2 Bedroom Cottage. Right at the entrance to Mt Field on the Tyenna River. Believe me one night stays are not enough as so much to see and do in this area you will wish you stayed longer. Junee caves Marriot falls Maydena bike park Styx valley Russell Falls Lady Barron falls Horseshoe falls Lake Dobson The salmon ponds And that's just a few!!! Our Riverside Cottage (1) has one bedroom with a queen bed, set closest to the river with views outside your bedroom window and right off your back deck. There is also a large lounge to relax on and watch TV or movies. All cottages have a self contained kitchen, dining, lounge, laundry, bathroom and outside decking. Walking distance to Russell falls which has been voted the best waterfall in Tasmania! It is self check in, but if you need anything please call (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and happy to assist. In this great area there is so much to see and do. One night is not enough! Maydena bike trails. Railtrack rider.. Junee caves Lake Dobson Lake peddler An abundance of walking tracks and Many great waterfalls. The only way to get around is by your own car or bike. No public transport. The closest supermarket is at New Norfolk and it is recommended to bring your food with you to cottages as there is not much choice for meals. We do provide you with a bbq upon request but if you are purchasing a park pass you are able to use the great bbq facilities at Mt Field National Park which is a two minute from our cottages. Walking distance is National Park Hotel and they serve great meals but best to call to confirm restaurant open on that night. Mt Field National Park have a cafe with daytime light meals.
