River Gardens Cabin This is a quirky modern cabin with a retreat aspect. Starting with its unique covered deck area hosting a kitchenette dining / lounge area that links to the lockable bathroom. With a retreat like aspect, wonderful river views, the property is spacious with large meandering lawns and gardens to explore. We are tucked away yet only minutes drive into Bethlehem shopping complex. The cabin is newly built with double glazing and a heat/cooling unit , it would suit travelers, a couples. We provide the basic tea and coffee, all toiletries , bedding and towels. The kitchenette has a basic setup with nice working sink, bench, fridge, jug, toaster, microwave, electric wok, camp oven, and all utensils. The bed is a made up king, towels are provided. The outdoor covered area has a large comfy leather couch, bar table, seating and outdoor heater. We have a delightful dog named Beau, he does bark but becomes very friendly very quickly. If you don't like dogs please let me know and we will make sure he is kept away. When approaching the start of the driveway, you will see a sign to go right rather than continuing up the main driveway, through the big wooden gates to the cabin. There is plenty of space for parking. A lock box will be available for a self check and a set of keys to use on the table, if I am about it will be unlocked . The cabin is a newly built modern design with a covered deck area with kitchenette/dining/lounge that links to the bathroom , its a stand alone structure that's a bit different, set away from the main house in its own area of the gardens with lovely trees around and views up the river. There is a petanque court you can enjoy, swing seat under the large trees, a rustic outdoor lounge with meandering gardens and lawn area to enjoy . We do have river access for those that can swim and please note children must be supervised at all times. There is a Barbecue available to use up on the house level in a outdoor covered area. We neighbour Waimarino adventure park which has an abundance of activates to enjoy including Kayaking, blobbing etc. also they do night glowworm tours. We are a rural property not far off SHW 2, on the banks of the Wairoa river. We are minutes drive from the Bethlehem shopping complex, and 10mins or so into Tauranga CBD . Mount Maunganui Beaches are 15mins approx depending on traffic. There are good taxi services available and buses out of the Bethlehem shopping area Once you have arrived if you wish you can close the gates or not . It is a basic Kitchenette so need to watch not to have to many appliance going at once or can trip the overload . We like to turn off the wifi at night around 10.30 and put it back on in morning please let me know if you require it in that off time so to adjust for you. Please turn off all heaters and bathroom fan if you are heading out .
