A short stroll from the property takes you along the river bank, through the woods to a waterfall perfect for den-making, picnics and dog walks. All around there are walking, hiking and biking trails for all levels of ability. The Peaceful Retreat was originally the village schoolhouse and is mentioned in historic documents. Sadly few features remain and the property has been completely renovated by the current owner as a holiday home, including a new kitchen (with modern equipment and appliances) redecoration and restyling of interiors throughout.
