Our family cottages are located on the bank of Kalwari stream, which joins up with the Tirthan River about 500mts down the stream. We are in the eco (Hidden by Airbnb) -zone of Great Himalayan National Park which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by orchards and step farming fields on one side and pine and Deodar forests on the other, our cottages are literally in the lap of nature. Your stay is bound to form a lasting camaraderie with nature and the valley. The only place in the valley that receives sunshine throughout the year. Newly-sawn wood and freshly-hewn stone define the look and feel of our cottages. Guest will have access to One room in the cottage . The cottages are a fine balance between rustic grace and modern comfort. Large, plush rooms with plenty of natural light come equipped with a 'bukhari' and oil heater each. Hot water is available 24/7. For your indoor time, LCD TVs connected to Tata Sky keep you company. Should you fancy a longer stay, stocking up on groceries and dabbling in the kitchen are an attractive option, too. cottages features a garden and a terrace. (The fishing season starts on 01 March and ends on 31st October. Moreover, the valley abounds with exquisite and rare birds and waking up to loud bird song is a heavenly way to begin your morning. There are quaint walking trails along the stream and leading into the forest near the cottages. We strongly recommend exploring these trails where you might stumble upon unexpected and delightful views or spot some rare bird. The roads are newly constructed all the way. Drive down in One day: An early morning departure at 5 a.m. from Delhi should have you in Chandigarh by 11 a.m., at Aut (Himachal Pradesh) by 5 p.m. and at the Tirthan Valley by 6 p.m. in time to freshen up! • Dinner ends at 9.30 pm.
