Cute house on the hill

Cute and comfortable house located high up on the volcanic hill of Szent György-hegy. The house is surrounded by vineyards, green fields and fruit trees and has a spectacular view over the hills of the hills of the Tapolca valley, the Badacsony hill and lake Balaton. This is a lovely place to spend a weekend - we spend as much time as possible here! The wine cellars and restaurants of the hill are in walking distance and we are happy to share our own favorites! /Magyarul is lehet erdeklodni. This beautiful area, part of a large national park, has a lot to offer such a great hiking trails, and within walking distance you have plenty of wine cellars and restaurants offering local wines and cuisine. The hiking opportunities are varied and the famous geological phenomenon, the basalt organ pipes, is just around the corner. Lake Balaton is just a few kilometers away. From the house you have a great view of the lake Balaton and the surrounding hills, in the other direction, you see the top of the hill and its basalt stone formations. We will be happy to answer any questions and share or best recommendations to make the best out of your stay. . Car is very helpful but you can manage without it. Kisapati is the closest village which you can reach within 10/15 min on foot. In Kisapati there is a shop, bakery and both bus and train connection to Budapest. Some people arrive by train and walk up the hill to their houses. Tapolca is 8 km away and Balaton with its popular beaches is 5 km away. Gravel roads lead to the house but the roads are fine to use with a regular car. We have two bikes that can be used.
