Rosies’ Place” Your vacation rental space features a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) sq/ft retreat in the lower "walk-out" level of our home. Your rental suite is completely separate with no access to the rest of the home. Located directly on Lighthouse Route 333 only 20 mins to the city of Halifax and 20 mins to world renowned Peggy's Cove. For avid golfers, Granite Springs golf and country club is just 3 mins away. The main living area features........with panoramic views of Shad Bay and Cochrans Island. Quiet and private with a fantastic view of the ocean which boasts lots of marine life. Propane fire pit for evening outings. Water access to launch a boat or kayak. Quests can use the dock for fishing, kayaking (bring own kayak). When we are on the property we will let our guests have as much privacy as they want or we can socialize and give them some suggestion on things to see and do. If they need us we can be reached by cell at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) This spot is private and quiet. There is a public beach nearby, also the Highhead walking trail approx. a 6 min drive in Prospect Bay (at Seligs Rd.) You can enjoy a kayak experience at Terence Bay also a 6 min drive away, or bring a kayak with you and you can put it in the water right at the property. There is golfing 2 mins away at Granite Springs Golf course or Little Indian Golf course. Peggys Cove is 15 mins. further, with picturesque West Dover along the way. You will need a car to get around, especially if you want to visit Peggy^s Cove (20 mins.) away. Halifax and shopping are also 20 mins away. If bringing children you will need to be aware of the ocean and road proximity. If you want to book for longer than a week we can accommodate.
