Single Bedroom

Please note that this is a single bed with a single bed. Tastefully decorated in fresh grey colour and Paper flowers on the far wall. Very comfortable firm orthopeadic mattrass on the bed with plenty of storage for your stay. I don't have a shower at the moment and the house is therefore not suited to anyone that can not get in and out of the bath tub or anyone that has a preference to only use a shower. The Bathroom has a Bathtub that is available for your use otherwise. Perfect also if in Basildon for a few nights, either for work locally or holiday in Essex and London without paying London rental rates. It is located within 5 minutes of walking into the town centre and supermarket. The bus station is also within 5--8 minutes walk depending on your pace. The main hospitals (Basildon and The Essex Cardiothorasic Centre are about 20 minutes walk or you can jump on the bus that takes 5 minutes). Train station is just opposite bus station which is about 8 minutes walk from the house. If driving, Parking is available but please let me know if you will be driving because I would need to get you guest parking or show you where free parking is within 1 minute of walking to the house. No need to drive to town centre as the house is located near town centre. Trains form Basildon take 35-40 minutes to Central London and are very reliable. In Summer you will have access to use the garden and Conservatory. The house is not modern but it is a home. For now guests can access the Kitchen and Dining room but I am hoping to open up the rest of the living space from spring including access to the garden. For now I would like to leave the living room as my space but will see how it goes. I also work so may always be at home to Face-to-face interactions with guests, but when I am at home, I am happy to interact with guests. This will depend on the guests also they may want their own space. Very quiet neighbourhood, house is facing greenery at the front, which is perfect for dog walking and children to run around as there is no road in front of the house. Buses and trains accessible within minutes of walking distance. Trains run to and from London until about 12:30am. Taxi are also reasonable cheap. Sometimes it is cheaper to share taxi if there is more that one of you travelling that to use public transport. Teas and coffees will be provided, will be left in the kitchen for you to help yourselves. Loads of restaurants locally within 5 minutes walking distance but if guests wish to cook they can do so. The Local Superstore/Supermarket is opened until midnight on most days except Saturday when it closes at 8pm and Sunday at 4pm.
