The Embassy suite on the historic Iola square

This beautiful suite sits on the north side of the square and overlooks the bandstand where the community band has performed concerts for 150 years. It is within easy walking distance of a coffee shop, bakery, two restaurants and other interesting shopping all situated on the square proper. If you’re visiting in the summer there is a farmers market every Thursday evening and the community band plays every Thursday evening in June and July. There’s also a bike share program. I love to interact with our guests. I’m happy to advise you on anything having to do with hiking, biking, adventure, shopping, restaurants, neighboring towns etc. There’s plenty of shopping on the Square as well as other areas of town. There is a disc golf course 3/4 of a mile south of your door. That’s also the closest access to the Lehigh Portland Trail system. There’s access to the Neosho River about a half a mile west of town on the south side of the highway for a spot to fish, take photos or just skip rocks. You can pick up a bike share bike from a couple different businesses on the Square and then you can explore things a bit further away without needing to drive. We have a pretty wonderful trail system south of town that’s worth your time either on a bike or on foot.
