La Grange de Villaret

La Grange de Villaret is located in the heart of the Poitou-Charentes, in a quiet hamlet in the south of Deux-Sèvres, far from the hustle and bustle and daily routine. A piece of nature that lives to the rhythm of the seasons. An ideal environment for long walks, a bike ride to the boulangerie for a baguette and a croissant. All utilities are within 2 km. And of course there is much more to discover here in the area ... a basket full of flyers is waiting for you. The former old limestone barn was renovated into a characterful, comfortable, romantic, cozy and spacious holiday home for up to 5 people and 2 babies / toddlers.The authentic walls and beams are beautifully reflected in the entire house. On the ground floor is the open, equipped kitchen with gas stove, oven and micro-wave oven, coffee maker & Nespresso, dishwasher and spacious refrigerator with freezer. There is a cozy dining and living space with flat screen TV (including Netflix, ...), radio-CD player with Bluetooth and a wood stove for warm atmospheric moments during the long winter evenings. The washing machine, ironing board with iron and folding laundry rack inside (and outside a drying turnstile) can be found in the storage room next to the bathroom with sink, bath / shower and toilet. There is also a spacious bedroom downstairs with a double bed and a cot. A high chair, baby / toddler toys and board games are available and a nice travel cot can be placed on request. If you go up the stairs you will find yourself in a very spacious mezzanine where you will find two single beds. If you go another 5 steps higher, you will enter the 2nd mezzanine with one single bed. Both give a beautiful and relaxing view over the fenced garden and the attractive field. In the south-facing garden, equipped with garden furniture, you can dine and relax in the spring, summer and autumn. You will find a table with 6 chairs under a covered terrace, 3 umbrellas, and 4 sun chairs. There is a barbecue and from spring 2021 you will also be able to relax in our SPA every season (warm up with wood - 8 to 10 people - a lot of space). The accommodation will be at your disposal in its entirety! You can park in our private car park ... It is a non-smoking house and pets are not allowed (small pets negotiable). We also live here in the region, are always available and are happy to help you with any questions.
