Lovely Converted Train Carriage/ Garden Studio

Lovely cosy converted train carriage from 1914. The carriage is big enough for two guests with a queen size bed and bathroom with toilet and shower. Small fridge and microwave. The carriage is nestled at the back of the property amongst the trees and garden. You will have direct access to the carriage as you just need to come down the driveway. The carriage is situated at the back of the garden filled property. We live in a small miners cottage at the front. You can access the carriage directly through the driveway We will be available to you should you need, but the train is a completely private space. Ballan is a small country town with lovely walks and bushland around. There are a few cafes and shops as well as local bakery and IGA for all the things you need. The Ballan train station is a 5 minute walk from our house and can take you to Southern Cross station in the city in 1 hour or out to Ballarat in 30 minutes. Surrounding towns such as Daylesford, Trentham and Gordon are all around 25 minutes drive. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about the surrounds or if you would like recommendations! Tea and coffee provided, as well as fresh towels and linen. Local maps and information are also available in the carriage for you.
