Central Coromandel Sanctuary

Nestled right in the heart of Coromandel Township - this cosy cabin is tucked away in a quiet and secluded garden setting, close to a stream and surrounded by trees. It is the perfect place to 'get away from it all', and to find sanctuary in nature. It is a an open plan, 1 room Studio with a Queen bed and Single bed. It is a 'Glamping Style' experience, whereby you share the owners bathroom which is located inside their house - it is a short 20m stroll to the house - however the stream is also a nice bathing option for the brave, with onsite natural soap to use. There is access to a nearby outdoor tap and use of jug and toaster for basic tea and coffee requirements. We encourage the use of our nearby cafes and restaurants for your meal times. There are no cooking facilities inside the cabin. Linen is provided. There is no tv or wifi access. The owners live on site, and are available most evenings if you require assistance with anything. There are plenty of stunning bush walks nearby, and great cafes and art stores. Our location lends itself perfectly to walking into town, so you won't need to book transportation if you are wanting to stay in central Coromandel. You really should try bathing in the crystal clear stream in summer it’s not cold, it’s refreshing, particularly good after a day at the beach.
