Birch Cottage

Birch is a quirky 300 year old cottage. She’s packed full of original features. Birch is perfectly placed for exploring all that Somerset has to offer. Wells, Glastonbury, Street and the Mendips are all within 30 minutes drive. The city of Bath is only an hours drive. Birch Cottage is all yours! We can be on hand as much or as little as you want. We’re only up the road so can always be on hand. Butleigh itself is very quiet. Chances are during the day you’ll hear more horses hooves up the high Street than cars. We are though 5 minutes from Glastonbury and Clarke’s Village in Street. The City of Wells is also an easy 15 minute drive. If it’s walking you’re after you’ll have no problem finding some beautiful hikes. You would likely benefit from a the use of a car. There’s on road parking only but the road is really quiet and there’s always space. There is a bus service to the village but it is somewhat limited.
