Within walking distance of Aira Force, Ullswater, and a stunning lakeside walk to Glenridding and the foot of Helvellyn. If you are looking for a tranquil stay surrounded by nature then this is a perfect base. 2 parking spaces at the front/side of the property I’m on site and available if needed,but will respect your privacy. Attached newly converted property forming part of a former Village School in rural location at top of country lane enjoying spectacular views over the lakeland fells and enjoying tranquil setting. The property is located in a rural area, with plenty of walking and cycling routes on its doorstep. It is possible to walk to the local pub. Public transport is limited but bus time-tables can be made available. Taxis are also available but require pre-booking and are subject to availability. For hard-core walkers or cyclists wanting to challenge themselves on the most demanding routes there is also an option to book a "guide" and similar options are available on Lake Ullswater for a range of water sports. Full refunds will be offered for cancellations due to covid restrictions enforced by the government. Unfortunately we do not take pets.
