A cosy 2 bedroom ground floor self catering apartment in the Annexe of Lomond Castle. Ideally located on the Bonnie Banks for outdoor activities, including golf, and for exploring the surrounding area on foot, by car, by boat or by sea plane .. or just for a relaxing break. A short walk to Duck Bay Marina and 5* Cameron House. 35 minutes by car to Glasgow City Centre and 25 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Enjoy watching the sun set at the end of your day, but beware of the midges .. ! (1) Although the beds are advertised as a King Size and two Single beds, these can also be configured to provide two King Size beds or four Single beds if required. (2) The fully fitted kitchen is separate from the lounge and includes fridge, freezer, combined washing machine & clothes dryer, dish washer, electric hob, electric oven, microwave, crockery, cutlery, cooking pots & pans etc (3) A basic Sky satellite TV package is provided. (4) A patio table and 6 patio chairs are provided. (5) Guests are respectfully requested to:- a) Park their cars in the paved communal car parking spaces provided, and b) Dispose of their refuse in the skips provided beside the car parking area .. Thanks All the grounds and patio areas are communal. However, owners/guests do not usually, as a courtesy, sit directly in front of another guest's/owner's patio door if the latter is in residence. Guests may walk on the the small shore/beach if the water is not too high. Guests may also use the small jetty/pier on the beach. I will personally check you in if I am around but if not I will leave clear self checkin instructions.. If you need any help whatsoever during your stay you may contact me via my mobile phone or email. This is a beautiful complex and is situated right on the Loch. It has fabulous grounds and you can sit anywhere within the grounds providing you don't block the view of another apartment. There is a small shingly beach which is accessed down the steps from the main lawn. You can dangle your feet over the jetty and watch the sun go down. The views are gorgeous being able to see the Islands and Ben Lomond in the distance. A truly wonderful place. The apartment has a large private car park. There is a train station at Balloch which is 2 miles away and runs into Glasgow. There is a public bus stop not far from the apartment which runs to Glasgow and to Campbelltown going North . You can catch the boat for a sail on the loch at Luss and Balloch . The Cruin restaurant and function suite is situated within walking distance of Lomond Castle and provides food if they don't have a wedding function onl. It is a very popular venue for wedding receptions and you will sometimes hear the delightful skirl of the bagpipes when the bride and groom are welcomed to the venue. Duck Bay Marina is also a short walk down the loch side where you can eat and drink without having to drive. Luss is also nice but a few miles north. There is a beach there and you can catch the boat for a sail on the loch. It has a few good eating places and there is a hotel there too.
