Local shopping strip 1 block away. Airport 20 kl's. City is 11 kl’s. Cheap eats prolific in and around Sunshine. Railway Station within walking distance or direct bus route- some 1.2 kl. I can lend you Myki travel cards during your stay. Like a motel but heaps cheaper. Happy to accommodate pets kept under control. Give us a go. The bungalow - consists of ONE LARGE BEDROOM plus a full en (Website hidden by Airbnb) is really only suited for couples or those sharing the queen size bed with a child. Set in a residential area, it is in a quite location. It is situated at the rear of our house. You have your own entrance via the driveway so once you are in, you can come and go at your choose. You can self check in anytime by simply walking down the driveway and bungalow will be open with key in the door. The bungalow has a mini fridge with milk,cold water provided. Tea and coffee facility within room. Snacks, couple of beers and soft drink provided. Microwave provided but NO COOKING facilities . Split system heating/cooling installed. Laundromats nearby if required. I have a BBQ that you can use. I have provided cutlery and plates for those travellers who have their cereal etc with them. For those who will rely on public transport, I will loan you travel cards - even pick you up from Sunshine Railway Station and drop off there as well. I have an "Information Folder" with local attractions, restaurants to check out. I will point out the best places to eat. Plenty of on street parking but can provide off street parking if desired. Use of my great outdoor entertainment area is encouraged. Just relax and watch the planes in the distance heading off to wherever. Be it for one night or more, we will do our best to make your stay enjoyable. I will always try to be here for your arrival to settle you in and provide assistance to make your stay enjoyable as possible. Some people wish to maintain their privacy which is fine but I am happy for guests to come inside for a chat or drink. It is up to the individual. LOCATION. Please be clear on where we are located. We are 11 kilometres from the CBD in the Western Suburbs. It is close to public transport - Sunshine Railway Station is 1 kl from us on Route 420, bus stop is 120 metres from our house with and local shopping centre. We live in a residential area with some nearby shops- supermarkets some 2 kl from our house. Really suited to those guests with access to a car but many other guests happy to use public transport. I provide travel cards- they just need to top up the credit. We have been in operation for some 3 years with nearly 300+great reviews- we are Superhosts. The bird life is prolific but generally it is very quiet neighbourhood. Easy access to highway that takes you to Great Ocean Road, Melbourne CBD, Tullamarine Airport (20 kl). One block away to bus stop that goes to Sunshine Station. There are two lines that stop there -Watergarden and Sunbury lines. It is possible to walk to station (20 minutes) or direct bus one block from my home. Buses run every 20 minutes (Route 420) Trains run 24 hours on the weekend, but not so the buses. We never drive into the Central City due to on going roadworks, cost of parking. There are many stations within the city that you can access- going in and coming home. 20 minutes by train to city. If you intend to use public transport you will need a Myki travel card. I can purchase one for you ($6 for the card plus some credit for travel used) that you can then refund me.You then get to keep the travel card or I will loan you a travel card whilst staying with me. If coming via Airport, it is cheaper to take a taxi or Uber directly here rather than Skybus. Happy to drive you to and from rail station with your luggage.
