Terence Bay is a very old village that was once a thriving fishing village with a lot of quant seaside fishing shantys in areas. Generations of families populate a large portion of the area. Very friendly people with a rural NS accent. 10 min drive to nearby waterfront Pub/Restaurant/Marina & Liquor Store. No nearby public transportation. Located almost in between Halifax and Peggy's Cove .You will need a car. 25 min to Halifax and 20 min to Peggy's Cove Area is usually quiet but sometimes, mostly on weekends, there is the possibilty of hearing boat traffic etc later in the evening.
