There are still many things to see and do all year round with the £4 DAY 'tap tap cap' bus ticket. (You need the exact money or each person uses a separate credit card) Murrayfield indoor ice rink, the Zoo, botanic gardens, many free art galleries and museums, ghost tours,visit Edinburgh's disgrace and admire the view of Edinburgh from Calton hill or climb aboard the royal ship Britania, climb the Scott monument, walk to the highest point in Holyrood park, Arthur's Seat, and stroll along Portabello prom or picnic on the beach. If you love a swim a Sunday wild takes place every week. With a 15 minute bus journey to Murray field rugby stadium the choice is yours. The whole of the space is for the guests, consisting of bed sitting room with comfortable double bed, shower room (shower, basin and WC), conservatory and full kitchen inc. Fridge/freezer, full size electric oven/hob, microwave, sink/drainer, washing machine. High speed broadband WiFi and freeview TV. Private back door which leads to small decking area. We work during the day so may not be able to reply until the evening. While in flat you can ring main door bell to receive help or information. Baberton is a suburb in the west of the city. It is close to all amenities and a car is not necessary. It is a bus ride away from the city centre but close to the country side and walking in the Pentland hills. It has easy access to the city bypass, airport, Royal Highland show and the new Queensferry bridge which takes you over the Firth of Forth. Murryfield Stadium is a 15 minute bus drive and our dry Ski slope, the largest in Britain, a short drive, only 10 minutes by car. ( see website for Hillend snowsorts).Edinburgh has an award winning bus service and a real time bus tracker app, which can be downloaded for free. It is the host of the Edinburgh Festival in August and the hogmany party at new year(where the whole of Princess Street becomes a party). It is the home to many festivals see (Website hidden by Airbnb) After the madness come back to your home in Baberton for relaxation. Come in, order a takeaway and watch a bit of telly and reflect on your busy day. Mind you. With all the clubs and bars in Edinburgh you may just come home for sleep. The accommodation is in a quiet suburban estate. A 10 minute drive from the airport, £15-£17 taxi ride or you can use the airport bus 400 alighting at Westside Plaza and a 10 minute walk. From the studio flat there is a 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop (service 33/night bus N30 - main route into city centre). If travelling by car we are near the city bypass. Lots of scenic countryside within easy walking distance. Local amenities only a 10 minute walk away (pubs, restaurants, shops, swimming pool and cinema). Twenty minute walk to Heriot-Watt university and 15 minutes to Edinburgh College. Murrayfield rugby stadium is a 15 minute bus ride. Canal and water of Leith walks also with in 10 minutes walk away. Queensferry crossing is an easy 15 minutes away by car which gives you easy access to Fife and the highlands. There is off street parking in front of the property. Wifi password underneath TV. TV on swivel mount and can be comfortably watched sitting in bed. The door in the kitchen is blocked off and space fully sound proofed. Please be careful when outside as the decking can be slippery when wet. Hair dryer in kitchen cupboard.
