Sweet, period cottage set in the Mendip Hills. Recently refurbished, it is clean, neat and stylish. Get away from it all in cosy charm. Listen to the stream trickling past, or relax in the brand new hot tub with complete privacy. You can stay warm in fluffy robes afterwards in front of the brazier. Take in the stunning views from all aspects of the cottage with the option to light the log burner upstairs for the ultimate in relaxation. There are many options for country walks, some with pubs. Located within it’s own private area in a hamlet, opposite a farm, a stream and open countryside, Stream Cottage is the ultimate in getting away from it all. You will have sole use of a large, enclosed garden with fruit trees & raised beds. Also included is sole use of the brand new, top of the range hot tub, set in a private decked area with loungers & an outside wood burner. We are happy to have as much or as little interaction with our guests. With the current COVID situation we are mainly leaving keys out & messaging/texting but we are usually nearby if needed. As we are quite remote, we would recommend driving & there is ample parking right outside the cottage. You can walk to 2 local pubs, cider barn, village shop & butchers. The closest (small!) town with a Spar, Co-Op, Boots with a pharmacy & restaurants/take-aways/pub is less than a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk away.
