Lawu, Karanganyar Regency, one hour trip from Surakarta City (Solo City). From Solo, you can take a bus to Tawangmangu, and in Tawangmangu, there's public transportation available (minivans) if you plan to go to Sarangan, Mt. Lawu, or Balekambang. To go to Grojogan Sewu Waterfall, you can walk about 15-30 minutes from the villa. From the villa, there exists a plethora of food and culinary restaurants and stalls.
