Casa da Avó has a history dating back to over 100 years. The whole state comprises the main house, where Isabel, the villa's owner, has set her residence,The Backyard House,The Upper House, The Wooden House, The White House, and the Tree House. Vale da Silva, where the properties are located, is set in a beautiful ecologic area only 15 minutes away from Aveiro town, also known as the Venice of Portugal, where you can enjoy moliceiro trips (gondola) through its various canals. Aveiro offers numerous activities alongside with it's stunning sandy beaches such as surfing, kite surfing, sailing and fitness. It also has a great night life and shopping areas such as Forum Aveiro set above on one of the main canals of the city. The city of Aveiro is also a short drive to the wine regions of Bairrada and Douro, known worldwide for its Port wine. Each house can accommodate from 2 to 6 people and they are fully furnished, apart from the Tree House that only accommodates 2 people Casa Branca - White House Set on a 3,500 metres plot of green land, Casa Branca (The White House) has 2 double-bedrooms; fully furnished living-room with 2 single beds. Cable TV, fireplace for the cold winter days; fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Outside the house you also have a gazebo for you to chill or entertain yourself with family and friends. House for 6 people. Pets are welcome! Located within 5 minutes from the A1 and A25 Highway. Aveiro town centre 12 kms (15min) Costa Nova/Barra beach (20min) Private parking, private barbecue and pergola, shared swimming pool, gardens at the main house, horse riding (ask in advance) free bikes, free internet and nature. Guests can contact me whenever they need or want Vale da Silva is an ecological green area, so there are only a few farms, crops and about 800 mts of unpaved road in order to keep the environment the most untouched as possible. The best way to arrive to Vale da Silva If you have GPS you must pot Rua Vale da SIlva, Loure or Rua do Pedreiro, Loure Always go to S João de Loure (Loure) Please never turn to FROSSOS . It has an error and you will get lost! I have 3 horses and several goats, 5 turtles, 3 dogs that stay at their private kennel and 8 rescued and friendly cats that stay in the gardens of Granny's House. If you like animals, peace and quiet, pool and sun, nature...this place is great for you!
