Immaculate detached oak annex, near Wellington
"UPPER ANNEX" provides luxury accommodation with a fusion of English modern country charm and Scandinavian simplicity. RELAX and UNWIND. This beautiful oak annex is nestled away on the edge of the Blackdown Hills and provides the opportunity to escape, switch off and enjoy some of the beautiful walks that the area has to offer. The PERFECT base to return to after a day off exploring the local countryside. LUXURY COMFORT. Relax in the stunning bathroom with freestanding bath, complete with fluffy white towels and Cowshed toiletries. Drift off to sleep in the double sleigh bed with views overlooking the beautiful countryside. SECURE and PRIVATE. The annex is detached with it's own access, courtyard seating area and private undercover parking, thus ensuring privacy and security. We live down a small country lane which can become muddy in the winter months. Guest parking is on our drive inside a carport. The carport is fitted with a socket, so if you need to charge your electric car, this can be arranged in advance for an additional cost of £10 per night. You will need to bring your EV adaptor. Public transport and taxis are limited and so if required we would advise you to book them well in advance to avoid any disappointment. There will usually be someone in the main house to greet you on your arrival and to show you where everything is. We are a friendly family who love living in this area and are more than happy to help with any queries. The annex is in a PEACEFUL SETTING surrounded by fields, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills but only ten minutes by car from the nearest town, Wellington. "UPPER ANNEX" offers the perfect way to escape and explore the West Country. UPPER ANNEX is situated in a rural area down a small country lane, which leads to the bottom of the Culmstock Beacon and is perfect for couples and keen walkers. The annex is a ten minute drive from both the M5 and local town of Wellington which has a handy Waitrose. We are 15 minutes from Tiverton Parkway train station which links to London Paddington and Penzance! Upper annex is situated in an easily accessible but rural location. We are extremely lucky to have an abundance of wildlife in the area including wild horses, foxes, badgers, deer, pheasants, buzzards and woodpeckers. This does mean however, that the odd spider or daddy long legs might find its way uninvited, into the annex. If you have an extreme phobia to bees, hornets, spiders or daddy long legs please seriously consider this before booking.
