Sennenwohnung Bärghuus Axalp

This part of our house was built in 1948. The idea was to keep the original character of the apartment of the "swiss cowboys" but still to offer a modern comfort (shower, toilet, electrical kitchen, heater). Our "Sennenwohnung" is an apartment with separate entrance, only used by you. We have a lot of space around the house. We also have enough private parking space next to the house. Usually we are always on site. We live in the house and we run a little grocery with souvenirs next door. We are besides the touristic mainstreams but Interlaken is 30 minutes driving by car. Our house is interesting for guests who stay a few days. The cleaning fee is only charged once so the rate will reduce with longer stays. We are next to the bus stop "Bellevue" on the line Brienz - Axalp. But the first bus leaves quite late and the last bus is back quite early what avoid long excursions with public transportation. We are 1460 above sea level on a sunny terrace. In summer we are in a hiking area. The famous woodcarving trail Axalp (Hinterburgsee) starts with us. The Giessbach water falls are on the way to us.
