Squireswood Studio is a pet free light, cosy & warm property on the fringe of Kingskerswell village, conveniently placed to access many local attractions. Found easily between Newton Abbot market town & Torquay seaside town. 3.5 miles in each direction. 2 miles from Penn Inn Roundabout on A380 & 1 mile from newly constructed South Devon Link Road. Being self contained it makes a perfect place to stay. Decorated in white with comfortable furnishings is well fitted & fully stocked throughout. A light warm, airy & warm Studio found on fringe of Kingskerswell Village. Found easily between the market town of Newton Abbot & the seaside town of Torquay. 3.5 miles in each direction. Being only 2 miles from Penn Inn Roundabout on the A380 & 1 mile from the newly constructed South Devon Link Road makes this self contained holiday home a perfect place to stay. Within easy reach of ten English Riviera Beaches. There are several well known restaurants & pubs nearby. Kingskerswell Village has a Co Op grocery store which is open 8am until late. and is within walking distance. The property has wifi, TV & DVD, heating/ instant hot water and is fitted/stocked with everything you could think of so you can enjoy a comfortable holiday. We provide what to do/where to eat brochures at the property. Property has a new induction hob/pans, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, vegetable steamer, coffee maker, hi fi, TV and hairdryer and lots more. Unfortunately this property cannot take children due to health and safety and lack of sleeping arrangements. Guests may however bring one infant under 1 year old if they bring their own travel cot and all other necessary baby equipment. (space is limited) Owner lives on site and is usually found gardening within the extensive grounds. Guests are welcome to use the gardens and fields and can also use the access to the woodland up to Kingskerswell Downs for 70 acres of walking/exploring. No areas within the main house are shared as guests have their own totally self contained area to themselves in the Studio itself. Musical instruments/karaoke etc are very welcome and there will be no complaints if guests wish to bring along keyboards, guitars etc. as any neigbouring properties are over 250 metres away. We have hosted many a musician or two in the past. Although we do not allow parties. Guests can however have 2 or 3 visiting friends to visit during the daytime. Owner lives on site so is usually available to meet and greet. There are times when the owner is away but is always available by phone or internet. A manager/friend is available for emergencies by phone or internet in the rare occurance that the owner is unavailable. Squireswood Studio Kingskerswell Self Catering Cottage Torbay South Devon Set on the rural fringe of the village of Kingskerswell, halfway between the market town of Newton Abbot and the seaside resort of Torquay Squireswood is ideally situated for exploring the magnificent South Devon coastline, the wide open spaces of Dartmoor and numerous beautiful gardens and National Trust properties. The Eden Project and many Cornish gardens can be visited comfortably in a day, and golfers are very well catered for, with many fine courses within easy reach. The cosmopolitan cathedral city of Exeter and the historic towns of Totnes and Dartmouth are a short drive away. We can many places of interest to make the most of your stay, depending on your particular interests. Kingkserswell is a village just off the main A380 New Devon Link Road. Squireswood is placed only a 10 minute walk to the number 12 bus route through from Newton Abbot to Torquay in each direction. The village is within easy reach of the coast of Teignmouth, Shaldon, Dawlish and Exeter City. We are within walking distance to Barn Owl Pub & Restaurant and only a 4 minute drive to The very popular Hare & Hounds & The Bickley Mill Inn Pubs/Restaurants. The village of Abbotskerwell is very close by and is only a 5 minute drive away from us where visitors will find the excellent Church Farm Inn Pub/Restaurant. Squireswood is placed on the edge of the Kingskerswell Downs and boasts access to 70 acres of wooded common land enjoyed by many dog owners/walkers. We have far reaching views across to Dartmoor and can clearly see the highest point at Haytor and Hountor where many walkers spend their leisure time. It is advisable to bring a car to this location although public transport is available, so you can enjoy the many places of interest available to everyone in the surrounding area. Plenty of parking is available at the property and free parking is available in the main village to visit nearby shops. SMOKING:- Guests are only permitted to smoke outside away from the property (garden) however we would appreciate if guests would respect our wishes and remove all their cigarette ends wrapped in to the bins provided outside. We recycle everything here and expect all guests to rinse and sort their own glass and plastic containers and place into the relevant marked bins provided just outside of the studio. Pets :- Unfortunately we do not accomodate pets of any kind due to allergic reactions to all our other visiting guests. IMPORTANT:- We use a septic tank drainage ( private Kargesting unit) and under no circumstances must anything other than human waste/ toilet tissue is ever to be flushed down toilets. Absolutly NO wet wipes are to be flushed away.
