Tranquila Retreat 'Cosy Cubby'

We have a very central location, only minutes to the highway, so you can venture to Eumundi Markets, Noosa beaches and National park or the hinterland and see Montville and Maleny. Venture south to Australia Zoo or the Glass House Mountains and then south east to beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches...all this is on our doorstep and most only a 15 to 30 minute drive.. As this is a quiet peaceful place in a nature setting, it is only suitable for people seeking that type of quiet accommodation. The cubby is very small and cosy (the size of a small bedroom) with a small deck and a lovely outlook of the bush. It has a queen bed in it, wall fan and one whole wall is made of fly screen so you feel very close to nature, it is our version of glamping! The cubby is close to the main house and next to the pool. There is a seperate bathroom toilet nearby ( approx 20 metres walk) and will be for your use, during your stay. There is an outside fridge nearby if you require to store any food items. There is also an outdoor kitchenette next to the pool area with hotplates, kettle, toaster ,sink , plates, pots, pans, cutlery and convection microwave etc for any cooking you may wish to do . This is a quiet place and only suitable for people wanting to stay in a peaceful natural environment . We encourage guests to make the most of their time here and want you to enjoy the facilities we have. You are welcome to laze in the hammock or lounge by the pool , to enjoy the bush walks or to take advantage of the numerous little seating spots that we have around the place. If you would like a little tour ask Stephen as he is always happy to share the work he has been doing over our 15 years of living here. As Stephen and I are home most days there will always be someone close by to help with any needs or queries that you may have. I love that we are far enough away from everything to enjoy the peace and quiet of acreage living and yet close enough as not to be inconvenienced by constant traveling . We have wonderful little cafes and eateries only 10 mins away! There is no nearby public transport so Guests will need their own transport in order to get around. Stephen is a trained Shiatsu therapist and Yoga Teacher and I am a massage therapist who specialises in balancing energies and crystal remedies. We would be more than happy to share our modalities with you. We have added two new ventures to our list and we now have our own beehive and make our own beeswax wraps which we sell markets and online. Our honey is delicious and available for purchase if in stock.
