The Snug at the Barn, Milton Keynes

Romantic, cozy & discreet SNUG tucked away within this unique property, a 16th Century Barn in the historic village of Bradwell the accomodation is 1 double bedroom, TV room and your own large bathroom with a double ended bath, all self contained and private. 3 mins drive to Milton Keynes main line station and 30 mins to London Euston. 2 pubs The Queen Victoria and The Albert. Close by is the Bradwell Abbey Benedictine Priory dating back to 1154, St Mary's Chapel offering beautiful walks. :) Self contained acommodation which consists of 1 double bedroom with desk and chair, adjacent to your private lounge with a large L shaped sofa which can open into another large double bed. Fridge, coffee and tea making facilities are included. Smart TV including Netflix, Amazon TV and free Wifi. Our historic 16th Century Barn and SNUG is part of our family home but seperated by two entrances which keeps you completely private as you have your own entrance. There is a large bathroom with a double ended bath for those romantic special occassions supplied with towels and necessities such as shampoo and conditioner etc. Although we do not have a kitchen you are welcome to order take-aways or local restaurants are close by. We do have a cat and a small dog, and plenty of birds therefore complete silence cannot be guaranteed. Your private entrance is via the bedroom (key lock box) and have private use of the bedroom, the lounge and large bathroom - there is no kitchen or cooking facilities. We are available during your stay with us and for privacy you can text or just knock on our door. Bradwell Village is a quiet hidden village very close to Milton Keynes a large town in Buckinghamshire 50 miles north-west of London and easily reached on junction 14 off the M1. Popular attractions include Bletchley Park, iFly at Xscape, Treetop Extreme, Snozone, MK Gallery and it is surrounded by historic towns such as Stony Stratford reportedly the most haunted town in the UK. There are regular buses from most places to the City Centre, train station, but travelling by car is usually preferable as our road network is specifically designed to ease traffic congestion in this great town. There is an efficient and reliable taxi service too. Although we have no kitchen facilities, we do supply plates, cutlery and glasses for your use. If these are used just leave them in the box outside the entrance and they will be washed and returned to you.
