Laundry Cottage is a newly renovated, beautifully furnished one bed cottage nestled on a quiet bank of the River Doon in Alloway, a great area for fishing, golfing, budding artists or just exploring Ayrshire and Scotland's West Coast. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher and two bathrooms with showers in each means this place lacks nothing. The Stunning views of the River Doon, together with the wildlife on the doorstep ensures peace and tranquillity during your stay. Open plan kitchen, dining and living area with Sky T.V. The bedroom has an en suite bathroom and all bed linen and towels are provided for your stay. The bed can be made as a double or as two singles. The sofa in the living area is also a fold down bed. There is a garden with outdoor sitting area and BBQ Fishing rights come as part of your stay at Laundry Cottage and two rods are available on request, as is a ghillie if required. I will always be contactable during your stay Laundry Cottage is situated just outside the picturesque village of historic Alloway in Ayrshire, a short walk to the world famous Brig O'Doon, the Brig O' Doon Hotel, Burns National Heritage Centre and Burns Cottage. The village itself hosts a pharmacy, cafe and small shop with lots of local produce. The cottage has glorious views over the idyllic River Doon, which runs for one and a half miles around the property, offering excellent opportunities as an artists retreat, fishing, bird watching and riverside walks. A Bus service is available from the village of Alloway into Ayr town centre where you can get easily get to Ayr Train Station or Ayr Bus Station.
