Comfortable apartment under the Castle
Lovely apartment on the first floor of a medieval building in the ancient heart of Bracciano. A few meters from the Orsini Odescalchi Castle and from the panoramic viewpoint called "La Sentinella". My apartment is in one of the most ancient streets of Bracciano and has been recently renewed. It's composed of a wide kitchen and dining room, a bathroom with tub and shower, a large living room with a sofa bed and a mezzanine with high ceilings where's the main bedroom. All the apartment is at your full disposal. I don't speak English, so my friend Silvio will take care of you before and during your stay. Bracciano is a small town in the Italian region of Lazio, 30 kilometres (19 miles) northwest of Rome. The town is famous for its volcanic lake (Lago di Bracciano or "Sabatino", the eighth largest lake in Italy) and for a particularly well-preserved medieval castle Castello Orsini-Odescalchi. The lake is widely used for sailing and is popular with tourists; the castle has hosted a number of events, especially weddings of actors and singers. The town is served by an urban railway (Line FR3) which connects it with Rome (stations of Ostiense and Valle Aurelia) in about 55 minutes. Close to it lie the two medieval towns of Anguillara Sabazia and Trevignano Romano. Bracciano is very well connected with Rome by train every 30 mins. You can visit the town on foot. Lake is approx. 15 mins walk down the hill.
